BEIJING — In Erguna city in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, groups of corsac foxes were captured by the camera of a local photographer recently. The species can be found in central Asia, Russia, Mongolia and North China. In 2008, the corsac fox was listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

With the ecological system in Inner Mongolia improving, more of the foxes have been found. The photographer followed this group several times and captured close-ups of their gestures and expressions.
