LIST: Where to get Easytrip, Autosweep RFID tags now

MANILA, Philippines — While tollway firms and government agencies have stressed that radio frequency identification (RFID) tags would still be available even after expressways adopt a fully automated system, motorists still want to get the stickers and beat the deadline to avoid being hassled on the road.

Days before the December 1 implementation of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) program geared at limiting person-to-person transactions to avoid coronavirus transmissions, both Easytrip and Autosweep — RFID providers for Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and San Miguel Corp. Tollways (SMC Tollways), respectively — have rolled out a number of installation sites.

MPTC’s Easytrip RFID stickers, which can be used in the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), may be obtained at the following locations:

Currently, both Easytrip and Autosweep RFIDs are free of charge but customers have to shell out cash to cover the pre-loaded value that usually amounts to P200.
