House elects new Secretary General

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Wednesday elected former lawmaker Mark Llandro “Dong” Mendoza as the new Secretary General.

His election came after Atty. Jocelia Bighani Sipin resigned as the House Secretary General.

Mendoza currently serves as the National People’s Coalition party’s Secretary General.

He likewise served as Batangas representative for three terms starting 2007 until 2016. [ac]
