Gapan City mayor goes on quarantine even after testing negative for COVID-19

CABANATUAN CITY –– Mayor Emerson Pascual of Gapan City and his sister, fourth district board member Joy Pascual, have undergone a voluntary 14-day quarantine even after they tested negative for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The parents of the two officials have previously contracted the virus.

But Pascual assured the public that their parents were in good condition.

The mayor said he has been living in a separate house and away from his own family.

“Don’t worry because I will continue doing my job and you will see me after my quarantine,” Pascual said on Facebook live on Tuesday night.
