PH logs 1,530 new COVID-19 cases; 11,290 more patients recover
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported an additional 1,530 COVID-19 cases, pushing the country’s tally to 407,838.
In its 4 p.m. case bulletin, the DOH also reported that 11,290 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 374,329.
The COVID-19 death toll in the country, meanwhile, increased to 7,832 after the DOH recorded 41 more fatalities.
According to the DOH, 6.3 percent of the total COVID-19 cases in the country are active cases, 91.8 percent have recovered while 1.92 percent have died.
