LOOK: Ulysses brings floods in Pasig; relief goods packed for victims
MANILA, Philippines — Pasig City was not spared by Typhoon Ulysses’ assault, as its rains brought massive flooding in some parts of the city.
In photos provided by Niths Ramos, residents were seen wading through a knee-high flood in Esguerra St.
In a Facebook post by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, he said that emergency responders are doing rescue operations.

Sotto said that almost 60 percent of residents in Barangay Santolan were rescued, as this area had that most number of people stranded.

Based on Pagasa’s latest weather bulletin, the state weather bureau has lifted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 in all areas as the typhoon weakened.
Ulysses is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Friday morning.
