35 more PNP personnel infected with COVID-19 bringing total to 7,255

MANILA, Philippines — The total coronavirus infections among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel reached 7,255 on Sunday after it reported 35 additional cases.

In its daily COVID-19 case update, the PNP also reported 67 new recoveries, bringing the total to 6,730, or nearly 93% of the total COVID-19 cases in the PNP ranks.

Meanwhile, no new fatality was recorded. The PNP death count remained at 23.

Active cases, or patients still undergoing treatment, were currently at 502.

So far, the Philippines has a total of 383,113 confirmed COVID-19 cases. The tally includes 348,760 recoveries and 7,238 deaths.
