LOOK: Senate gives health gift packs to Pasay frontliners
MANILA, Philippines — Frontliners from the Pasay General Hospital, Pasay City Health Office, and Philcare Manpower Services on Wednesday received health gift packs from the Senate as the institution celebrated its 104th anniversary.
Photos from the Senate showed the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. turning over the gift packs to the said recipients on Wednesday.
“Pasay City Frontliners were chosen because Pasay has been graciously housing the Senate for so many years now,” Senate President Vicente Sotto III said in a statement.
“May God continue to guide the Senate of the Philippines for a better and stronger Philippines,” he added.
Included in the photos was Sotto’s daughter Ciara, who represented Helen Gamboa as president of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.
Also present during the ceremony are Director Irah Ruth Borinaga of the Office of the Senate Secretary; and Dr. Marilou Ocampo.
