Pangasinan posts highest-single day record of 39 COVID-19 recoveries
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—Thirty-nine people in the province have recovered from COVID-19 on Wednesday (Sept. 30), the highest number of recoveries here in a single day.
Records from the provincial health office (PHO) showed that most of them are from Dagupan City.
The others are from the towns of Binmaley, Sta. Barbara, Basista, Mangaldan, Bugallon, San Fabian and Calasiao.
But the PHO recorded eight new COVID-19 cases on the same day. These are from Dagupan City and the towns of Mangaldan, Pozorrubio and Sta.Maria.
According to PHO, a 74-year-old woman from Sta. Barbara town has also died of the disease.
Pangasinan has now a total of 931 confirmed cases, 574 of whom have recovered while 324 are still confined in hospitals. Thirty-three patients have died of the disease.
