NCRPO seizes P19.55-M drugs in crackdowns over 12 days

MANILA, Philippines — Illegal drugs worth P19.55 million were seized in operations from June 2 to 13, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said.
This was the result of 334 anti-drug operations, arresting 452 suspects, the NCRPO said in a statement on Saturday.
Of the drugs seized, P5.55 million were confiscated by the Southern Police District, which comprises the cities of Las Piñas, Makati, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay and Taguig as well as the municipality of Pateros.
This was followed by drugs valued at P5.24 million seized by the Manila Police District.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Police District — which comprises the cities of Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina and San Juan — confiscated drugs worth P4.26 million.

About P2.87-million drugs were seized by the Northern Police District, which consists of the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela.
Further, the Quezon City Police District confiscated P1.63-million worth of illegal drugs.
