Teacher, companion nabbed in Samar drug bust

TACLOBAN CITY –– A school teacher and her companion were arrested in a drug bust in Calbayog City, Samar at 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.1.

Seized from Jingle Montalba and Lilian Rose Vargas were seven sachets of shabu weighing 10 grams with an estimated street value of P70,000.

The two suspects were detained at the Calbayog City police station pending the filing of charges against them for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
