The store clerk who was monitoring Cayanan through the store’s CCTV camera chased the suspect and immediately sought the assistance of two members of the barangay security force, according to the police report.

This resulted in the arrest of Cayanan and recovery of the meat products. He was then brought to the police station for proper disposition.
