Alleged victim of summary execution found in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – Authorities discovered the body of a man believed to be the victim of summary execution Monday morning along Muelle del Rio Street of Manila’s Binondo district, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.

Senior Police Officer 2 Virgo Villareal of the Manila Police District’s Homicide Section described the victim to be aged 35 to 40 years old, around 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and clad in jeans and a red shirt.

Villareal said that the victim bore strangulation marks and suffered burns to his face.
