Driver gunned down in Isabela while on drinking session with friends
ROXAS, Isabela –– A 67-year-old driver was shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants while he was having a drinking session with his friends in front of his house here on Monday night, police said.
Police Col. James Cipriano, Isabela police director, identified the victim as Benjamin Rivera of Barangay Bantug.
One of the gunmen shot Rivera at close range using a .45-caliber handgun. The victim suffered bullet wounds on his head and body, which caused his instant death.
Police were eyeing personal grudge in the killing.
