LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized an illegal firearm in Tiaong town in Quezon province before midnight Sunday.
Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police chief, reported Monday that anti-narcotic agents arrested John Christoper Alforte, 18; Riann Kier Silva, 19; and Edgardo Perez, 40, after the suspects sold P500 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay (village) San Juan at 11 p.m.
Police seized a total of eight plastic sachets of a still unspecified amount of shabu from the suspects.
Perez also yielded an undocumented caliber 9MM pistol.
