MANILA, Philippines — A Caloocan printing shop, which reportedly manufactured a fake coronavirus disease (COVID-19) test result, was shut down by the city government on Friday for operating without a business permit.

The shop, located near a public school on Maligaya Park, Barangay 177, went viral after a netizen saw a customer asking the shopkeeper to edit a COVID-19 test result by digitally changing the name on the document.

The shopkeeper allegedly scanned the document and used an editing program.
