P680K ‘shabu’ seized, 4 nabbed in Camarines Sur buy-busts
LEGAZPI CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested four suspected drug pushers and seized P680,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur on Friday and Saturday.
Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Bryan Hong, 35 and a 17-year-old male, were arrested in Barangay (village) Triangulo at around 6:10 p.m. on Friday. Recovered from the two high-value targets were two sachets of 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000.
In a separate operation, Carlito Catangui, 46, was caught with a sachet of suspected shabu in Barangay De Los Angeles in Buhi town at around 8:40 p.m., said Police Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police chief.
