DAGUPAN CITY — Eight new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in Pangasinan, local health officials said on Wednesday.

Three of the new cases are siblings aged between 1 and 8 years old, records from the provincial health office show.

The children, who are from San Nicolas town, were exposed to their 29-year-old father, the town’s first COVID-19 patient, who came home from Antipolo City on June 27 and was found positive for the virus on July 11.
