Restos to have larger dine-in capacity
Restaurants will have a larger dine-in capacity beginning July 21 due to their “good compliance” with minimum health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez said the increased dine-in capacity would apply to restaurants in general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified GCQ areas. In GCQ areas, dine-in capacity will be increased from 30 percent to 50 percent beginning July 21. In MGCQ areas, the dine-in capacity of restaurants will be increased from 50 percent to 75 percent.—Julie M. Aurelio
