A man who was fleeing from the police using a stolen car crashed into a woman, who turned out to also be driving a stolen car in Oregon, United States. They both got arrested.

Police got into a car chase with 27-year-old Randy Lee Cooper last Sunday, July 6 in the city of Newberg, as per Fox-affiliate KPTV on the same day.

Authorities said they were able to locate the car thief, right after he was reported stealing a Toyota Land Cruiser, because he went through town.

In an attempt to escape, Cooper raced to downtown Newberg only to crash into another stolen vehicle, then occupied by 25-year-old Kristin Nicole Begue.

An intoxicated Begue was occupying a Buick Regal, which police found out was reported stolen three weeks before the incident, according to the report.

She was then arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Cooper was meanwhile arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police, third-degree assault, reckless driving and other related crimes. Ian Biong/JB
