Grade 9 student in Dagupan City nabbed after yielding marijuana

DAGUPAN CITY –– Police here on Wednesday arrested a 15-year-old student suspected of selling marijuana.

Investigators said the Grade 9 student was caught with 2.1 grams of dried marijuana leaves packed in a plastic sachet during a buy-bust operation.

Also seized from the student were cash, including the marked money, and a mobile phone.

The boy was turned over to the Women and Children Protection Desk pending his commitment to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
