Rizal Park reopens ‘for exercise only’ — NPDC
MANILA, Philippines — Rizal Park (also known as Luneta Park) in Manila had a “soft opening” on Wednesday to allow visitors to do their exercises just for five hours in the morning as the government eases restrictions under general community quarantine (GCQ), the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) said.
In a Facebook post, the NPDC said the public park will be open starting July 1, 2020, “for exercise only” from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.

NPDC, which manages Rizal Park and Paco Park in Manila, also required guests to fill out a health declaration form before going to the public park.
NPDC also reminded visitors to follow health protocols while in the park such as wearing face masks, social distancing, and temperature checks at the entrances, among others.
