Motorcycle rider dead in Quezon road crash
LUCENA CITY –– A 34-year-old motorcycle rider died after figuring in an accident along the Maharlika Highway in Tayabas City shortly before midnight Tuesday.
The Tayabas police reported that Deyl Venal was negotiating the highway on his way home when he bumped the rear portion of a truck ahead of him in Barangay Calumpang around 11 p.m.
Venal suffered grave injuries when he was thrown off after his motorcycle overturned upon impact.
Rescuers rushed him to the Lucena United Doctors Hospital in Lucena City but he died on the way.
