Did You Know: 15% of Filipinos migrated in last 5 years

According to the 2018 National Migration Survey recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, 15 percent of Filipinos migrated in the past five years.

Of this number, 84 percent of migrants moved within the Philippines while 14 percent moved overseas.

The top three internal migration streams each involving at least 95,000 migrants in the past five years were National Capital Region to Eastern Visayas, Calabarzon to National Capital Region and National Capital Region to Calabarzon.
