11 more cops recover as COVID-19 cases in PNP reach 326

MANILA, Philippines — Eleven more police personnel recovered from the new coronavirus disease, increasing the total number of recoveries in the Philippine National Police (PNP) to 174.

PNP also documented seven additional COVID-19 cases in the police force for a total of 326 as of June 2.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of June 2, 2020, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization rises to 326 with four (4) deaths and 174 recoveries.

Meanwhile, no new fatalities were recorded as the number of deaths due to COVID-19 remained at four.

PNP also documented 720 police officers who were considered as probable cases and 683 police personnel who were classified as “suspects.”
