10 Navotas barangays back to ECQ

Ten of 18 villages in Navotas City will revert to enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from Saturday morning to May 31 on the recommendation of the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging and Infectious Disease.

Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco earlier asked the IATF to put the city back under ECQ due to the rise in number of cases in the city. Instead, the IATF recommended that Barangay North Bay Boulevard South (NBBS) Dagat-Dagatan, NBBS Kaunlaran, NBBS Proper, San Jose, North Bay Boulevard North, Sipac-Almacen, Daanghari, Tangos North, Tangos South and San Roque be placed under ECQ.
