SWU-HS batch ’80 reunion set

THE Southwestern University – High School Class of 1980 will hold a reunion on June 2 in Cebu.

This was announced by class president emeritus Dr. Peter S. Aznar, dean of SWU College of Medicine, and class president Maritoni Palomo Cuesta, who presided the meeting of the organizing committee recently.

During the meeting, the officers and members of the batch agreed to hold their reunion every two years.

Cuesta said members should contribute P500 for the reunion. “Since we did not push through with the collection of monthly dues, we will be collecting contributions instead,” she said.

Rev. Pastor Wendell Olojan from Winnepeg, Canada, also attended the recent meeting as representative of batch members abroad.

Batch members are requested to wear their old school uniform and stay overnight at a soon-to-be-announced venue.
