PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — Palawan’s second confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patient, a 63-year-old resident of Barangay Tanabag in Puerto Princesa City, died on April 21, according to Mayor Lucilo Bayron.

Bayron said early morning Sunday in a live announcement via Facebook that the patient was admitted at Ospital Ng Palawan (ONP) on April 14 due to high fever and difficulty of breathing.

Bayron also confirmed that Barangay Tanabag was already placed under lockdown as contact tracing is being undertaken.

The fatality, who was also reportedly afflicted with other medial conditions, was tested last April 19.
