MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte will address the public anew on Wednesday.
The President’s former aide and now Senator Christopher “Bong” Go confirmed this in a message to the Inquirer.
This will be the President’s first public address since he approved the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine’s extension until April 30.
During his previous televised address on Monday, Duterte sought more sources to fund the government’s response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The country has so far recorded 3,870 COVID-19 cases. Of the number, 182 have died while 96 have recovered.
