COVID-19 death toll in Bulacan now at 11

CITY OF MALOLOS—The death toll due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Bulacan province rose to 11 on Monday, the provincial health office (PHO)said.

The new fatalities included a 32-year-old woman from the City of San Jose del Monte, a 55-year-old man from San Miguel town, a 56-year-old man from the City of Malolos and a 76-year-old man from Sta. Maria.

On Sunday, the PHO reported that a 67-year-old woman from the City of Meycauayan had also died.

Two more deaths were earlier reported in the City of San Jose del Monte and another two from San Ildefonso town. Marilao town and City of Malolos each had one fatality.

The province has listed 28 other COVID-19 cases as of Monday.

The number of active patients under investigation or PUI went down from 271 to 161 while the active persons under monitoring or PUM also dropped from 1,808 to 88.
