Police still clueless on widow’s fatal stabbing

/ 04:06 AM March 21, 2020

The police are looking into the motive behind the death of a 74-year-old widow who was stabbed inside her house in Parañaque City on Thursday by a still unknown assailant.

The victim, identified as Sonia Moral, a resident of Hemlock Street in Barangay Marcelo Green, sustained 30 stab wounds.

Parañaque police said Moral’s body was discovered by a neighbor around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said robbery could be one of the motives as her “fake jewelries” and other belongings were found scattered at the crime scene. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
