Camarines Norte college suspends classes due to COVID-19

LEGAZPI CITY –– The Camarines Norte State College has declared a one-week suspension of classes as a precaution against the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Rusty Abanto, college president, said the suspension started Saturday (March 14) until March 21.

Teachers were required to prepare instructional materials to cover the remaining topics for the semester and use alternative modes of learning for students.

Abanto said students should study, stay at home, and do not take the suspension as a time for leisure activities outside, especially in public places.

However, faculty members and other employees were still required to report to work./lzb
