Midnight fire destroys 20 houses in Bataan

ORANI, Bataan –– A fire of still undetermined origin razed 20 houses in a fishing village here shortly after midnight on Wednesday, authorities said.

Fire investigators said the blaze that broke out in Barangay Pantalan-Bago started at 12:05 a.m. and was put out at 1:15 a.m. No one was hurt in the incident.

Witnesses said they heard a couple having an argument before thick smoke billowed from the neighborhood.
