18-year-old man knocks grandmother unconscious, arrested

An 18-year-old man was arrested after he kicked his 84-year-old grandmother in the chest, knocking her unconscious.

Daniel Mutambala hit his grandmother after getting upset with her in their home in Utah, USA, Deseret News reported last Saturday, Feb. 29.

Police later arrived at the residence to take Mutambala into custody. However, he initially resisted arrest and “got into a fighting stance,” prompting the authorities to use a stun gun on him.

Mutambala was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of aggravated assault on an elderly adult and interference with an arresting officer.
