6 nabbed in separate Camarines Sur drug busts

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines  — Six suspected drug pushers and users were arrested in separate drug busts in Camarines Sur on Wednesday, police said Thursday.

Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police director, said at 10:30 p.m., Reynold Rubia, 35, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Bonifacio in San Fernando town.

Recovered from him were three small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu  (crystal meth).

In Baao town, Alekhine Bricenio, 28, was arrested after being served with a search warrant at around 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, Dennis Boreta, Expedito Brizuela, Richard Martinez, and Jeffrey Elviña were also arrested while having a drug session in the residence of Bricenio at Barangay Del Rosario.

Seized from there were six sachets of shabu, an improvised tooter, rolled aluminum foil, and other drug paraphernalia.
