PAGADIAN CITY — Three students of St. Vincent High School in Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental are still recuperating in a hospital in Tangub City after the motorcycle they were riding fell into a cliff Monday while going downhill from a mountain park.

Staff Sergeant Jay-ar Miñoza, Tangub City police investigator, said the three, all aged 14, skipped their classes and boarded a motorbike towards the Hoyohoy View Deck, which is notorious for its road with a steep climb.

On their way down, their motorbike’s brake failed, sending them into a cliff in Barangay Fertig Hills.

The three minors are residents of Bonifacio town, Miñoza said.

All three had injuries on their heads and shoulders and were rushed by witnesses to the nearest hospital for treatment, Miñoza added.
