Baguio City temperature drops to 10.5 °C
BAGUIO CITY – Residents and visitors here woke up to another nippy morning with the mercury dropping to 10.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday morning.
It was the second time the temperature in the summer capital plunged below 11°C this year.
The coldest morning recorded here this year was 10.2 °C on February 1, Saturday.
The chill was triggered by the northeast monsoon, which brings cold air from the northern hemisphere.
The coldest morning here was on January 18, 1961, when the temperature dropped to 6.3°C.
