3 suspects in robbery holdup killed in QC

A robbery holdup in Quezon City on Friday resulted in the death of three unidentified male suspects, who police claimed tried to engage them in a gunfight.

According to a report from the Quezon City Police District, victim Fe Buenaventura, 32, was walking with a male companion along Obrero Street in Barangay Bagumbayan around 3 a.m. when the armed suspects held her at gunpoint.

The suspects then forcibly took the victim’s personal belongings, police said.

Police officers who were conducting an anticriminality operation nearby chanced upon the victims who reported the robbery.

Police said they ran after the suspects, who then fired at the policemen.
