Box with man’s body dumped in Manila

Manila policemen found on Wednesday morning a man’s body stuffed inside a box that had been dumped outside Paco Park.

Written on the box sealed with packaging tape was a warning: “Don’t be like me, a holdupman/snatcher.”

The victim was described as around 35 years old, around 4’ 11” high, and with tattoos on his back that read “Jonald,” “Suwail,” “Bilog,” “08 Denise” and “Kirat.”

Dressed in a gray shirt, black pants and flipflops, the man had two puncture wounds in the torso and ligature wounds around the neck. His face and hands were wrapped in tape.

The Manila Police District homicide section said an unidentified motorcycle rider had told policemen manning traffic on United Nations Avenue about the box on Padre Faura corner Romualdez Street around 8 a.m.
