MANILA, Philippines — Most of the country, including Metro Manila, will likely experience overcast skies and isolated rain on Monday evening, as the easterlies or warm winds and northeast monsoon affect the Philippine weather system.

This was the forecast of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services (Pagasa), as contained in its weather bulletin issued at 4 p.m. Monday.

According to the state weather bureau, localized thunderstorms and easterlies coming from the Pacific Ocean may cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley, Pagasa said.
