DILG awards funds to Navotas City

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recently awarded Navotas City P3.5 million as a performance challenge fund (PCF) after conferring on the city the seal of good local governance in November 2019.

The PCF will be used mainly for road repairs at Navotas Homes-1 Tanza, as well as improving that community’s drainage canal to minimize flooding. The PCF is given to local governments deemed eligible for DILG’s financial support, based on their performance. —MEG ADONIS
