Commuters should expect slightly heavier traffic along Roxas Boulevard for at least two months, as the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday announced plans to relocate electric posts along the area to pave the way for the construction of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 Cavite Extension Project.

The MMDA said several electric posts along the boulevard between Redemptorist Road and Bradco Avenue would be relocated during a 70-day period.

The LRT Line 1 extension will provide an additional 11.7 kilometers to the existing 20.7 km LRT Line 1 system.
