Did You Know: 16,675 fires put out in 2018

According to the annual report of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Bureau of Fire Protection responded to and put out a total of 16,675 fires last year, up from 14,197 fires in 2017.

In 2018, 892 people were injured while 260 died due to fires.
