Pagasa Monday forecast: Intermittent rain showers, cloudy skies
MANILA, Philippines — The Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers caused by the tail-end of a cold front, the state weather bureau said Monday.
In its latest weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents in affected areas to watch out for possible flash floods and landslides.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos provinces will experience cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”
The “amihan” will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers are expected in Mindanao, Palawan and the rest of Visayas due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
