Some local flights canceled on Dec. 8, Sunday due to bad weather
MANILA, Philippines — Some domestic flights were canceled on Sunday as some areas in Luzon will experience inclement weather caused by northeast monsoon or “amihan,” the Manila International Airport Authority said.
As of 9 a.m., the Miaa said in its advisory that the following flights are suspended:
Cebu Pacific
5J 821 — Manila – Virac
5J 822 — Virac – Manila
Recent forecast from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration showed that areas in Luzon will experience cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers because of the amihan season this Sunday.
