American gets 2 years for child pornography
A judge in Pampanga province on Thursday found an American guilty of possession of child pornographic materials and sentenced him to a maximum of two years in prison.
But Judge Maria Amifaith Fider-Reyes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 42 in Mabalacat City acquitted David Timothy Deakin of cybersex charges.
Deakin was arrested by National Bureau of Investigation agents during a raid on his townhouse in Mabalacat on April 20, 2017.
The seizure of illicit digital contents from Deakin’s house was considered one of the biggest in the country.
During the raid, the NBI also rescued two girls, age 9 and 11, who stayed at Deakin’s house.
