Motorcyclist killed, back-rider hurt in Quezon accident
LUCENA CITY, Philippines – A motorcycle rider was killed while his back rider was seriously hurt in a road accident in Real town in Quezon province on Saturday, police said.
A report from the Quezon police headquarters said a van being driven by Felix Mogello Jr. accidentally hit an incoming motorcycle being driven by security guard Jomar Nelida in Barangay (village) Llavac around 7 a.m.
Nelida and his unidentified back rider was thrown off from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries.

Nelida died while being taken to the municipal health office while his back-rider was taken to a local hospital.
Mogello was detained at the Real police headquarters.
