MANILA, Philippines – A court has ordered the transfer of rapper Loonie’s younger sister, who was indicted for a drug case, from Makati Medical Center to Makati City Jail.
In an order dated Tuesday, the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 141 directed Makati City police chief Col. Rogelio Simon on the immediate transfer of Idyll Peroramas from the said hospital to Makati City Jail.
According to the order, Peroramas’ attending physician said “there is no longer any reason for the continued commitment of the accused at the hospital.”
Simon said Peroramas was admitted to the hospital due to issues on blood count and anxiety.
Perorams’ physician testimony stated that the hospital prescribed the accused a medicine to help her with anxiety. Hematologists prescribed the proper medication for Peroramas’ Beta-Thalassemia and monitoring of blood count.
But the attending physician clarified that the accused was already “medically stable.”
Peroramas is now under the custody of the Makati City Jail.
Previously, Loonie, whose real name is Marlon Peroramas, Idyll Peroramas and David Rizon were charged with violating Section 5 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 — for selling illegal drugs. The Makati Prosecutor’s Office did not recommend any bail.
The Fliptop rapper and five cohorts were arrested in September for allegedly selling P100,000 worth of high-grade marijuana or kush to an undercover policeman.
