Makati suspends coding scheme on Oct. 31, Nov. 1
MANILA, Philippines — Makati suspended the number coding scheme for vehicles on Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1, for the convenience of those going to cemeteries to visit their departed loved ones during “Undas.”
The city government announced the suspension in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The Makati Public Safety Department will also implement road closures and traffic rerouting from 12:01 a.m. of Oct. 31 to midnight of Nov. 2.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) previously announced that the number coding scheme for private and public vehicles will be lifted on Nov. 1.
