Fire hits ice plant in Mandaluyong
MANILA, Philippines – A fire broke out at an ice plant in Mandaluyong City on Friday afternoon, city fire department reported.
In a phone interview with INQUIRER.net, Mandaluyong fire station’s Senior Fire Officer I Jeff Sadaya said the Mandaluyong ice plant is under Samson Enterprises located on F. Bernardo Street, Shaw Boulevard.
The blaze reached first alarm at 4:25 p.m. and was declared under control after 15 minutes.

It was completely extinguished after more than 30 minutes.
Sadaya said the incident is still under investigation.
